Practical training for your dog and your household
My experience comes from raising four American Akitas. Living with Akitas, big dogs that are also spitz breeds, has taught me how much clear routines and consistent practice matter.
Atlas was my first dog. Away from the dogs I am a cloud architect, with seven years in highly regulated industries and a background in mechanical engineering. I built the Titan app myself, around what worked with Atlas and Shango.
Atlas and Shango have different personalities and learn at different speeds. We start with your dog's everyday routine and choose practical skills that fit your household.
I offer one-to-one sessions in Loughborough, home visits across the East Midlands and online coaching. You get clear steps to practise, a written plan and the follow-up included with your chosen service.
Firm, calm and respectful
We reward the behaviour we want, set clear boundaries and show your dog what to do instead. I explain each exercise, demonstrate it, then help you practise.
My approach includes calm guidance and corrections where needed, never in anger. I explain the approach and equipment before we start. No prong collars, shock collars or shouting.
We work at a pace your dog can manage, with breaks. Tell me if you or your dog are uncomfortable so we can pause and adjust.

The calm, confident one
Thinks before he acts. Won't do anything just because you asked nicely; you have to make it worth his while and mean it every time. Taught me that Akitas respond to clarity and reward, not pressure.
Shango
The social butterfly
Full of energy, friendly and easily distracted. Shango is still practising waiting and staying calm. He reminds me to break training into small, manageable steps.
Based in the East Midlands, travelling where needed
Park sessions take place in Loughborough, with no travel charge. I also come to you, anywhere within an hour of Loughborough, for a small travel fee that covers the car. Online coaching is available further afield.
